Introducing Edible on the Road.
Edible on the Road is a unique collection of short, inspired videos that celebrate local farmers and producers—incorporating humor, interviews and quick and easy to follow recipes. Hosted by Chef Plum, each 5- to 7-minute segment focuses on the bounties of the season.
Chef Plum has been featured multiple times on Food Network, ABC, CBS, Hallmark Channel, BET, Jamie Oliver’s Foodtube, and more. Having already successfully produced a series in a Connecticut (Edible Nutmeg on the Road), he was excited to expand the project to Long Island and the East End. Chef Plum says: “My favorite thing about Long Island and East End is the diversity and abundance of farms, artisans and food producers. It is important that we encourage people to support local businesses, because if we don’t, we may lose them. We’ll be visiting some of the coolest places and meeting passionate individuals who can share their fascinating stories.”
If there is a place you think the series should feature e-mail us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Edible Long Island and East End on the Road is sponsored by Shire Gate Farm. Nestled in the foothills of Owensville, Missouri. Shire Gate has quickly become the industry’s highest standard of humanely raised, antibiotic and hormone free, natural grass-fed beef.
