Where: Blue Point Brewing in Patchogue

The first annual Blue Point Oyster Ball kicks off this weekend! What should you expect? Unlimited oysters, live local music and plenty of craft beer to consume! Parking will be limited, so arrive early!

PumpkinFest 2019

When: October 5-6
Where: Suffolk County Farm & Education Center in Yaphank

Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins! (It’s harvest time after all.) There will be pumpkin picking and decorating; wagon rides; family games and activities; children’s entertainment; and more! Think you and your family are going to be hungry? Numerous food trucks are going to be on hand, including Food by Eat Me Drink Me; Rolling Smoke Wood-Fired BBQ; Farm to Truck; Roasted Sweet Corn; Knot of This World Pretzels; Chiddy’s Cheesesteak; Kona Ice; T’s Chicken; and Fish and Minichini.

(Note: Dogs aren’t permitted at this event, so leave your furry friends at home!)

Tails & Ales Fundraiser

Here’s an event with a dog-friendly atmosphere. Destination Unknown Beer Company is holding a fundraiser to raise money for Ollie’s Angels Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected dogs across Long Island. Try your luck at the 50/50 raffle, meet adoptable dogs and pucker up at the puppy kissing booth! And if none of that’s appealing to you, there’s always craft beer in the tasting room! Where: Tanner Park in Copiague

This event offers a little something for everyone! For beer drinkers, there’ll be a pumpkin beer tent. For foodies, there’ll be food trucks and local restaurants. For melophiles, there’ll be live music. Other attractions include face painting; a bounce castle maze; and more! Purchase tickets here.
