Where: Heckscher State Park in East Islip
Pour the Core: A Hard Cider Festival is returning to Heckscher State Park this year with more than 75 ciders from local, national and international cider makers! There will also be a doughnut eating contest; food trucks; and more! You can purchase tickets here. (Note: The VIP session is already sold out!)
Long Island Apple Festival
When: September 29
Where: Sherwood-Jayne House in Setauket
The Long Island Apple Festival is celebrating its 30th year! Of course, expect freshly pressed apple juice and food! There’ll also be live music; open-hearth colonial cooking demonstrations; apple relay races; tug-o-war; food vendors; applehead doll making (uh, what?); and hay and pony rides.
2019 Wildwood Fall Festival
When: September 29
Where: Wildwood State Park in Wading River
Sponsored by New York State Parks, the 26th Annual Fall Festival is being held this Saturday at WIldwood State Park in Wading River. On hand will be local craft vendors, food and refreshments, and activities, including pony rides; children’s entertainment; a petting zoo; a hayride and more. WBAB and WBLI will be providing music and games at the event. (Don’t miss out on the contests!)

Famous Food Festival
When: October 12
Where: Tanger Outlets, Deer Park in Deer Park
If you love food, this is an event you won’t want to miss this fall! The Famous Food festival is back and bigger than ever. At the event, there’ll be more than 60 food vendors; a beer and wine garden; chef demonstrations; a rock wall and more! Also on hand will be a cigar and bourbon lounge.
