Calling all fans of Grey Gardens!
As our own Hannah Selinger shared with Edible East End earlier this month: “Bouvier Beale—grandson of the elder of the two Edies, nephew of the younger—alongside his wife, Eva Marie Beale, has created a wine brand harnessing the spirit of Grey Gardens, made from 100-percent Long Island grapes.”
A European-style dry rosé produced with the help of Pugliese Vineyards on the North Fork, Grey Gardens rosé is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, and all of the grapes are grown in Cutchogue.
The wine, now in its third vintage, is currently served at the following local restaurants: Page 63 in Sag Harbor, The Palm in East Hampton, Paola’s in East Hampton, Catch Oyster Bar in Patchogue and Coral Tapas in East Moriches. It is also available for purchase at the following retail stores: Park Place Liquors in East Hampton, Sag Harbor Wines in Sag Harbor and Zabi’s Wine and Spirits in Southampton.
Thanks to the generosity of Bouvier and Eva Marie Beale, you can also find three bottles of Grey Gardens rosé at Edible Long Island headquarters—that is, until we send them on their way to the three lucky readers who win this giveaway!
