Cinco de Mayo is almost here, and we’re overjoyed to have another reason to eat tacos. (To be honest, though, does anyone ever really need a reason to eat tacos?) For us, pure food bliss is a spicy margarita, chunky guacamole and spicy beef tacos. Anything that can be wrapped in a warm tortilla and topped with cilantro and salsa verde holds a special place in our hearts. Cinco de Mayo is on a Sunday this year, which means we’ll all have plenty of opportunities to get our taco fix any way, anytime, and anywhere.
Here’s where we’ll be celebrating.

Copper and Clay Long Beach
The fine art of taco making is elevated to a sublime level at Copper and Clay. All natural, non-GMO dried corn is first soaked and then boiled with culinary lime before it is ground into massa. Their Nixtamal tortillas are handmade using the massa to ensure the freshest tortillas around. Grass-fed beef, heritage pork and free-range chicken are butchered in house for an authentic taco experience.
