Blue Point has come a long way since launching twenty years ago. With its new brewery already operating (and with a 60,000-barrel capacity!), Blue Point’s future is looking more limitless than ever. This weekend’s celebration, however, is firmly about celebrating the Long Island institution’s past.
And so, to celebrate, the brewery will be rewinding it back to 1998. What does that mean? Throwback beers, for starters. Guests will sip some of Blue Point’s OG brews, such as Oatmeal Stout, RastafaRye Ale, Toasted Lager, Old Howling Bastard, and more. 90s-inspired, too, will be the event’s live music, which will include performances by Dinosaur Jr., Soundswell, Reel Big Fish, Saved by the 90s, Jellyband, and Lazy Bunny Ukulele Band.
So break out your flannel and fanny packs and get ready to celebrate the Pride of Patchogue this weekend. The brewery will be awarding prizes to guests who arrive best dressed for the 90s.
The party will begin at 4:00 p.m. at Blue Point’s new brewery, located at 225 West Main Street in Patchogue. Tickets are on sale now, and cost just $50 per person (or $40 per designated driver). All proceeds will benefit the Billion Oyster Project.
We can’t wait to see you there.
Blue Point Brewing’s 20th Anniversary Party will take place this Saturday, October 13, in Patchogue from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person. You must be 21 and over to attend.
