Explore the North Fork All Summer With This Free, Luxurious New Shuttle Service

The North Fork Link will begin services on Saturday, July 7.

The North Fork is always a good idea. The traffic once you get there, however, often is not. Lucky for us, North Fork Now has come up with a solution, made possible by an Empire State Development grant: The North Fork Link.

A fleet of luxury vans that will take riders all around the North Fork, all summer-long, for free, the “Link” will begin services on July 7, running every Saturday through August 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Shuttles will run every 30 to 45 minutes, and will stop at 30 locations, including the Riverhead, Greenport, and Mattituck LIRR stations. Other stops include wineries, breweries, restaurants, shops, arts galleries, and innumerable Edible favorites, like North Fork Chocolate Company, Sang Lee Farms, Riverhead Ciderhouse, LIV Vodka, Bedell Cellars, and more.

On its inaugural day of service, July 7, the Link will kick things off with a bang: The first 50 riders will be entered into a giveaway to win an overnight stay on the North Fork. Additionally, all riders can submit a selfie on Instagram for a chance to win dinner and a wine tasting at a local North Fork restaurant.

“Suffolk County is constantly looking for new and innovative transportation options to draw visitors to our region,” said Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone. “The North Fork Link does just that, by allowing visitors to enjoy the world class attractions on the East End without the hassle of driving or parking.”

The North Fork Link is taking this innovation even further, by allowing guests to track its routes in real time with an app. So when it comes to hopping-on and hopping-off the North Fork to enjoy all it has to offer, there actually is an app for that.

The future is now—and, with the birth of the North Fork Link, it’s clear that North Fork Now is behind the wheel, driving us forward. Who’s ready to #ThinkLink?
