7 Catering Options on Long Island to Transform Your Thanksgiving Feast

Leave the cooking to the pros. (And conserve all your energy for the eating.)

It’s that time of year to immerse yourself in the beauty of gratitude—and sadly counting our blessings often gets lost in the rush of the holidays and the pressure to be the perfect cook. The struggle to create one perfect meal (that, let’s be honest, most of us make just once a year) is real. The truth is, most of us just want to sit around the table with our loved ones, catch up, watch some football, and fill our bellies with good food. We want a moment to be thankful and few of us want to spend the entire day in the kitchen—not to mention the clean-up that inevitably follows.

Well, go ahead and jump on Pinterest to plan your perfect décor, because dinner will be worry free when you let the professionals cater your holiday meal. Here are 7 excellent catering options on Long Island to consider ahead of the big day.

Harbor Market and Kitchen
Sag Harbor

It’s not too soon to start thinking about your Thanksgiving feast ! Our menu is in store or online . #thanksgiving2017

A post shared by HARBOR MARKET AND KITCHEN (@harbor_market_and_kitchen) on

Harbor Market is roasting up organic, free range turkeys (8-12 pounds each) with gravy included. Sides are sold by the pound and include all the amazing choices you’d expect plus some fun ones like Potato Gratin, Root Vegetable and Apple Stuffing and Cranberry Relish. You can conclude this tasty meal either by cutting into a traditional pie or something with a fun twist like the decadent Chocolate Ganache Torte.

Associate’s Gourmet Market
Medford

Associate’s Gourmet Market offers a selection of Thanksgiving entrees, including traditional Roasted Turkey Breast (served in its natural juices) to the infamous Turducken Breasts (roasted turkey, duck and chicken breast served in a holiday broth), or Sliced & Glazed Ham and an array of sides offered in 1/2 and 1/3 serving trays. Plus, of course, pies (Apple, Cherry, Blueberry, Pumpkin, Coconut Custard, Fruits of the Forest).  If you need more, or less, just let them know as they will accommodate portions.

Zorn’s of Bethpage
Bethpage

Family owned and operated Zorn’s knows a thing or two about traditions and farm-to-table eating. They’ve been serving the community since 1940 and today they offer several options for your holiday dinner. Oh, and did I mention that they started their family affair by selling their own farm raised turkeys? The Turkey Feast offers a whole oven roasted turkey (which means all you have to do is heat it up!), with a choice of three delicious homemade sides, stuffing, gravy, rolls, cranberry compote and choice of traditional apple or pumpkin pie. Smaller guest options are available too.

Seasons of Southampton
Southampton

With Seasons of Southampton, you can stay in your pajamas until the guests arrive, because this year they’re offering a complete package with the option of doorstep delivery. This package includes soup, salad, a whole roasted turkey with giblet gravy, traditional stuffing and all the necessary fixings that go with an authentic Thanksgiving dinner. Unbutton your pants (if you ever changed out of your PJs) and indulge in your choice of pie from homemade apple crumb to pecan or pumpkin.

Elegant Eating
Smithtown

Elegant Eating is featuring their Traditional Family Dinner which serves 8-10 guests and is completely ready to heat and serve. You’ll get an Herb Roasted Turkey (18-20 pounds, precooked), with gravy, savory stuffing, Triple Berry Sauce, Sautéed Green Beans (in garlic and oil), Sweet Potato Casserole, Cheese Pull–Aparts and for dessert a Harvest Berry Tart all for just $295. If you’re not hosting, but happen to be a guest, Elegant Eating also offers gourmet desserts and gift baskets.

The Culinary Studio
Huntington

This Thanksgiving, the Culinary Studio is offering Fresh Roasted Maryland Turkey or Beef Wellington with Merlot Sauce. Choose from over a dozen sides sold by the pound as well as an extensive list of soups, salads and hors d’oeuvres. The best part is that with no minimum for ordering, you can order your favorite side dish, just dessert, or an entire meal—especially if it’s just two of you at home watching football. You don’t even have to change out of your yoga pants to eat an elegant meal and that’s something to be thankful for!

Maple Tree BBQ
Riverhead

If you’re a procrastinator, I have some very good news: Maple Tree BBQ only requires three days’ notice to order your holiday meal. You can enjoy a dinner for two (or fifteen) with a choice of either smoked or roasted turkey, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, cornbread or biscuits and two additional sides such as whipped sweet potatoes or Brussels sprouts and house bacon (any reason for bacon is a good one). Also, you can pick up your meal the day before and reheat, or you can pick it up hot and ready to serve right away on Thanksgiving day.
