The Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead is kicking off the summer on the East End by hosting its second annual Taste the East End event on Sunday, May 29 from 7 – 10 p.m.
The event will feature more than 40 of the best local food vendors and restaurants, which will prepare signature dishes paired with local wines and craft beers.
Vendors so far include: Murph’s Famous Bloody Mary Mix, Twin Forks Beer Co., Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard, Crooked Ladder Brewing Company, Martha Clara Vineyard, Jason’s Vineyard, Moustache Brewing Co., Woodside Orchards Hard Cider, Pindar Vineyards, Tend Coffee, Bellport Brewing Company, Spiked Seltzer, Chokola’J, Tainos Sofrito & Mojo, Wine at the Finish Line (End of the Line), Chocology, The Birchwood of Polish Town, Grace and Grit, the Cheese Patch, Pellegrini Vineyards, Sannino Bella Vita Vineyard, Southampton Publick House, Seaside Grill, Atlantis Banquets and Events, CHarissa, Whole Le Crepe, Long Island Chowda Company, Hillrock Estate Distillery, Clovis Point, Hendrick’s Gin, Brew Crew Cycles, Jillery Jewels, Montauk Beverage Works, Ms. Michelle’s Cookies, Lucky Lou’s Gourmet Rice Pudding, Vital-A-Tea and Oceans 5 Seafood.
Live music will be provided by New Life Crisis II. Guests can also enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the aquarium. Tickets are available online or by phone, and reservations are required. The event is $64.95 per person, plus tax, and each guest will receive a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited tastings. You must be 21 years of age to attend, and proper ID must be shown at door.
