Cider and Carols Greet Yuletide at Kerber’s Farm

Even a Grinch couldn’t resist a visit to Kerber’s Farm. The historic site on 309 West Pulaski Road in Huntington established in 1941 has been transformed into a warm and inviting winter wonderland to melt even the coldest of hearts.

Owner and Huntington native Nick Voulgaris III has decked the farm store with plenty of provisions for the holidays, including fresh pine and a glittering display of vintage ornaments for sale. You can purchase freshly cut Christmas trees and lush wreaths. The ornaments evoke the nostalgia of bygone winter holidays; there are miniature skates and sleds, tractors, ice cream trucks and tiny classic cars topped with a just-cut family Christmas tree.

Don’t miss the opportunity to sample the holiday sweets for sale. Kerber’s pies are all baked from scratch right on the premises. Grab a bracing cup of tangy, hot cider and savor the aroma of turkey roasting in the oven while classic holiday carols fill the farm store, or enjoy a visit with Kerber’s chorus of heritage chickens housed out back. And, whenever you’re in the mood for a little yuletide cheer, Nick’s English Labrador, Charlie, is always ready with a friendly holiday nuzzle.
