Ah, nothing says “welcome home” better than walking into a house to the aroma of a roast in the oven. In our holiday issue, we laid out a feast for the senses with our Home for the Holidays recipes. When the meal is done and everyone has had their fill, take that chicken (or turkey) carcass and toss it in a big pot to make some stock. Homemade stock is a hand’s down sure bet in both flavor and cost. Edible Manhattan‘s editor, Gabrielle Langholtz, shared her stock tips last November…and good stock tips are always worth sharing!
