Long Island’s Eerie Eateries

Last fall, Kerriann Flanagan Brosky took us on a tour of some of Long Island’s more infamous eateries. Best known for her Ghosts of Long Island books, Kerriann is somewhat of an expert on the historical spirits that still reside on Long Island.

“Ghosts are good for business. There is no doubt about it, and writing about ghosts and food is definitely my forte. Through my Ghosts of Long Island books, I have written about and investigated more than 60 haunted locales on Long Island, many of them restaurants.”

If you are making plans to dine out this weekend,  you might want to consider some of these eerie, yet thoroughly yummy restaurants, that are home to some of our supernatural residents.

Country House Restaurant in Stony Brook – Cozy historic restaurant and home (still) to Annette Williamson.

Fiorello Dolce in Huntington – Croissants, brioches, focaccias and Eddie.

Grey Horse Tavern in Bayport – Great local food and Iris, too.

The Gourmet Whaler in Cold Spring Harbor – Outstanding fish tacos with a side apparition of Lillian Feldman.
