The warm and cozy Hikudo Asian Bistro and Sushi, at 329 Main Street in the heart of Huntington Village, serves some amazing, gourmet Asian cuisine. Their soups are satisfying and homemade, and their pork dumplings are perfectly cooked. Sushi is beautifully presented, and they have some delicious wok entrees including chicken and string beans in garlic sauce, and black bean, asparagus, red pepper, onions and mushrooms with your choice of chicken, pork, beef or tofu.

They have a wonderful array of appetizer specials, including what they call, “incredible tuna,” made with raw tuna prepared two ways. My favorite is the tuna pizza, made from a crispy, thin tortilla topped with a mixture of mashed avocado, jalapeño and shallots. Slightly mashed, raw tuna, finely chopped scallions, spicy mayonnaise and fish eggs are then layered on top of the avocado. Sliced in eight triangular servings like a pizza, this Asian version is simply irresistible.
