Next door in Queens we have some of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in the country. In Nassau and Suffolk counties our ethnic communities are either assimilated into the mainstream or found in tight-knit enclaves that feature restaurants and bakeries that reflect the immediate population (Portuguese in Mineola, Polish in Copiague, Latinos in Brentwood). Huntington is a virtual melting pot, where one can taste the cuisine of four different continents within as many village blocks. Below is just a smattering of some of the multicultural flavors available in Huntington Village.
French – Bistro Cassis
Italian – Osteria da Nino, Restaurant Joanina, Jonathan’s Ristorante, Bravo! Nader, Doppio Artisan Bistro, Tutto Pazzo, Piccolo, Porto Vivo, Primo Piatto, Red (coming back soon), Sal D’s, Porto Fino, Almarco, New York Panini
Portuguese – Fado
Indian – House of India
Pakistani – Spice Village Grill
Cajun/Creole – Storyville American Table
