When the temps get frigid, aren’t we all looking to warm things up a bit with the perfect Yuletide cocktail? If you’re on the hunt for something sparkly this holiday season, allow us to introduce you to the sugarplum fairy’s hotter, more fun cousin. The bartenders at Prime Restaurant in Huntington are serving the season’s freshest twist on the classic Champagne cocktail. The Sleigh Ride, complete with Long Island sparkling wine, fig vodka and a splash of oh-so-seasonal cranberry juice is topped with a cinnamon sugar dusted rim, adding a spicy quality to this sweet little glass of cheer. Sink into a leather armchair in front of Prime’s roaring fire and sip this gem of a cocktail while gazing out at Huntington Harbor through trees hung with little white lights. This year, we’re confident that the Sleigh Ride will end up on your list of favorite things.
